Counting Pennies – Van East Co-op’s Draft Budget Workshop

A review of the draft budget for the coming year, using an interactive computer presentation, discussing budget estimates, exploring alternatives, and examining what the new budget may mean for housing charges. The draft will then be brought to the Membership at the Budget General Meeting in February.
Here are the highlights from February’s Budget General Meeting:

Where: CHF BC Conference Room, 220 – 1651 Commercial Drive
The presentation of the proposed budget will be led by Lisa Berting of Cana Management.
Please bring the packages you received in the mail, they include materials for discussion of the proposed budget.
Please note that this meeting will be held in CHF BC’s Conference Room, which is on the second floor of Il Mercato Mall at 1st & Commercial.
Refreshments will be provided by the Social Committee and all are encouraged to bring their own plates, cups and cutlery.
In preparation for February’s Budget General Meeting, the Co-op holds a draft budget meeting – known in our Co-op as “Counting Pennies”. All Co-op members are invited to take part and help shape the draft budget that our membership will vote on.
